Thrilled to announce I’ll be in conversation with poet/novelist/artist/FSU prof Virgil Suarez at Midtown Reader & Piebrary, in Tallahassee, on Oct. 3, at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
We’ll be talking about my hybrid memoir, Melted Away, which traces my journey in Peru as a climate reporter and carer to a father with Alzheimer’s. I’m also relishing the opportunity say “climate change” in the state’s capital. Florida, as you know, has banned those words from official state records because … that’s how easy it is to get rid of climate change effects, right?
If you’re in the Tallahassee area, please stop by and say Hola! There will be a Q&A session and book signing after the event.
I am so looking forward to this.
