I’m honored to announce that I’ll be appearing on a nonfiction panel at the 10th annual Word of South festival, in Tallahassee, on April 5th.

My fellow panelists are historians Ray Arsenault and Evan Bennett, winners of the Florida Book Award for John Lewis: In Search of the Beloved Community, and Tampa Bay: The Story of an Estuary and Its People, respectively. Melted Away won the silver FBA.

We’ll be reading from our works and answering questions  from moderator Paula Walborsky.

I’m excited to meet readers and to talk with Ray and Evan. Please come, if you can!
